The boredom has become unbearable, as she hasn't been outside the house, not even for a minute, in an entire year. Desperate for a change, Viola begs Elva to let her go outside for a walk, promising she won't try to escape. At first, Elva refuses, but Viola keeps insisting, assuring her that she will keep her promise.
