Under the theme "Uniendo Generaciones" (Uniting Generations), this year's gala will pay tribute to songs that connect the past, present, and future of Latin music and will feature 44 categories reflecting the diversity of musical genres, from urban and pop to tropical and Mexican music. Among the new additions, the awards show incorporates six new categories: Best Dembow Song, Best Pop Latin Fusion Song, Christian Music – Song Of The Year, Pop-Urban Best "EuroSong", Mexican Music - Fusion of the Year, and Mexican Music – Best Electro Corrido, thus reaffirming its commitment to trends and the evolution of the music industry.
