Elagina found herself in a terrible situation. The husband of her former patient, lawyer Leonid Agalidi, discovered that the daughter conceived with IVF was not his. Now he is suing the clinic for a tidy sum, which puts it at risk of closure. However, thanks to Gleb Kaverin, Yelagina got out of this situation. Gleb proved that this was not a medical error and Leonid's accusations were unfounded. Nevertheless, this harsh lesson reminded all clinic staff of the importance of following protocols and procedures, including during IVF procedures, in order to avoid similar troubles in the future.
