In the gym, a barbell falls on businessman Mikhail Kotov's neck. Leonid's instructor is being detained along with his maid, his fiancee. Leonid claims that he ran to the sound of a falling barbell, and before that Kotov fired him. Pykha is "sinning" against the machinations of competitors: Kotov's distillery, which produced unaccounted-for products, was recently "squeezed out".
