Roza is also suffering after Kurkowski's death, and Lothar informs her that he has been assigned to investigate Kurt's death. Anna meets with Franz and tells how the Polish intelligence faked her death to get him to cooperate. He also informs him that due to Kessler's increased vigilance, Franz is temporarily removed from espionage duties.
