The technological race between the superpowers intensifies as rocket development and nuclear tests are carried out with the help of scientists brought from Germany. The need for intelligence is enormous and spy balloons and planes fly over the North Pole and in the northern skies. Finland, the Soviet Union's neighbor, becomes an arena for active intelligence activities. In addition to Soviet agents, NATO and CIA intelligence agents roam the forests and fells.
