The skies of Iran turned orange as Iranians experienced some of the heaviest bombardment since the war began. It comes after President Trump warned Iran would be hit "hard" and Iran's president rejected Trump's demand for the regime's unconditional surrender. Iran's president also said his country will no longer strike their Middle East neighbors, unless their territory is used to attack Iran. NBC News' Daniele Hamamdjian has the latest. The national average for gas is now $3.41 per gallon, up 43 cents from a week ago. But experts warn that gas prices could rise even further and approach $4 per gallon as soon as next week. It comes as the war with Iran has caused oil shipping in the critical waterway the Strait of Hormuz to slow down. Some oil producers have announced they will slow production as shipping risks rise. NBC News' Allie Canal reports. Powerful storms that caused tornadoes in parts of Oklahoma and Michigian have killed at least 8 people, including a 12-year-old boy. The storms left a swath of destruction reducing homes to rubble. Survivors are now beginning the process of cleaning up. NBC News' George Solis reports.Southwest Airlines says it diverted a flight to Atlanta out of an abundance of caution Friday, after what it says was a misunderstanding of a customer's behavior. Video from inside the plane shows police ordering passengers to put their hands up, before a man was removed from the plane. An FBI Atlanta spokesperson says no charges will be filed. NBC News' Valerie Castro reports.  President Trump attended the "dignified transfer" on Saturday, when the six fallen U.S. service members killed during the war with Iran were returned to U.S. soil. It comes as the president hosted Latin American leaders and floated possible action in Cuba. NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell reports. The Texas Department of Public Safety has released bodycam and security footage showing the tense moments before a federal agent shot and killed 23-year-old Ruben Martinez. NBC News' Steve Patterson reports. At the Cleveland Clinic, 4-year-old Brinley Wyczalek bonded with construction workers who showed up with major support as she waits for a heart transplant.
