Kouchu loses confidence after a big mistake at retrieving the Shueiken Medal when he failed another test. When he decides to study more about Crystal Monsters, Kouchu have given himself confidence, with help, and was able to get the medal. Although he has trouble understanding Crystal Monsters, he insist help from Marc, from his dream earlier in the series, to help him understand the powers of the Crystal Monsters. Kouchu was able to get the medal, and he and his friends will go to Route 4.
