Traffic police officers stop a car, the driver of which first tries to pay off, and then steals their own car. The hijacker is being chased in his own car, from the trunk of which a man's body falls out. It turns out that the car is stolen, and the kidnapper, nicknamed Hamster, is not involved in the murder. Having run through the name of the real owner of the car, the police think that he was killed. But it turns out that the owner is alive. Both he and his wife claim that they do not know the murdered man, both have alibis. The owner of the car believes that he was framed by a business competitor Sorokin.
