Nick's final case in Ashfordly begins when a villain who Blaketon once nailed shows up in the village and recruits his daughter and son-in-law to settle old scores. Meanwhile, Greengrass' latest money-making scheme is holding "ghost tours" in his "haunted barn" after hearing a story in the pub, and the old rogue also finds himself a new dog, whilst Dr Bolton sets his sights on taking over Kate Rowan's old surgery as he plans to win back Maggie.
