Kopylov Sr. takes his son Andrey to the forest to teach the basics of survival. But after drinking water from a flask, the father loses consciousness. They are accidentally discovered by Katya and Nikolai Nikolaevich, who arrived at the cottage and went for a walk in the forest. Maxim drives up and takes the Kopylovs home. Upon parting, Mukhtar drinks water from Kopylov's flask and gets acute poisoning, he is urgently taken to the vet. It turns out that there was poisoning with pesticides that got into the water of the forest spring from which Kopylov drew water. But how did the poison get there? The detectives will have to find out.
