With the death toll rising from the brutal winter conditions in much of the country, a new snow storm is headed for the Carolinas this weekend. NBC News' Sam Brock reports. The Department of Justice released 3 million pages of Epstein documents, along with 2,000 videos and 180,000 photos. The release included emails between Elon Musk and Epstein, coordinating a possible visit to the billionaire's infamous island. It's unclear if he actually visited and Musk has previously said he denied Epstein's invitations to visit. NBC News' Ryan Nobles reports. Former CNN journalist Don Lemon was released from custody after being arrested overnight, after a protest at a church near Minneapolis earlier this month. The judge let him go on his own recognizance. He'll be in court again in Minnesota early next month. NBC News' Liz Kreutz has the story.  A judge ruled federal prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione, who is scheduled to go on trial later this year for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. But in a win for prosecutors, the judge ruled evidence from Mangione's backpack will be admissible. NBC News' Laura Jarrett reports. Tonight, thousands gathered across the country to protest ICE's presence in Minneapolis, as Trump says he will not be scaling back the agency's presence there. NBC News' Maggie Vespa has the latest.
