A CT scan reveals a major fracture to Janine's pelvis and further tests are needed to determine whether her injuries could be life-changing. Janine has a life-long affection for animals, which inspired a change of life after her mother suffered a major heart attack. Retired dairy farmer Val, who's 80, is brought to Resus after suffering an uncontrollable three-hour-long nose bleed. His symptoms are complicated by anti-clotting medication that he takes for his heart.
