Robbing a safe in a rich house, the thief finds the corpse of the owner, businessman Boris Nikishov. According to the CCTV footage, the thief is identified as Ivan Kostin, nicknamed Crutch. Kostyl's girlfriend Nastya convinces him to go surrender. During his absence, an unknown person strangles Nastya. Arriving at the address, Pykha and Seva find Crutcher over her corpse.
