"Diana" (answer)-Drifters and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles....There weren't a lot of artist to look up to..."growing up in the "Ghetto" in Brewster projects! Lena Horne, Eartha Kitt..were people she liked! She said, They had to use their imaginations and created a lot of their own moves, clothing and FORBIDDEN!!!
