She later confesses that she once betrayed him by trying to sell information about Johann, who was collaborating with the Soviets. In Gotenhafen, the SS begins investigating, and Eva provides Franz with an alibi. Franz and Eva set a trap for Johann, giving him false information about the smuggling of documents.
