Plus, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright discusses the Trump administration's plans for Venezuela's oil. Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida says that Venezuela's opposition leader Maria Corina Machado has "earned" being in power. Machado will be meeting with President Trump this week. Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, who is also a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said that more military action in Iran would be a "massive mistake." President Trump has been briefed on military options, but no final decision has been made. Senators last week approved the display of a plaque recognizing the police who defended the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, from rioters. Congress voted in 2022 to hang the plaque by March 2023, but some lawmakers opposed the law and delayed its implementation.
