Professor Boerne's past catches up with him. The skeleton found in a forest near Münster is clearly the mortal remains of Raimund Stielicke, whom he knew from his active days in Münster's oldest student fraternity. The young Corps student was missing for more than ten years. Inspector Thiel is extremely suspicious of this world of roped parties and saber-rattling. And promptly his prejudices against the student fraternities seem to be confirmed: Raimund's father, the highly respected and also incorporated Prof. Walter Stielicke, shows no emotion whatsoever when he hears that his son has probably fallen victim to a violent crime.
