Three young brothers are dead after falling through the ice on a pond in North Texas as the winter weather is now likely responsible for more than 40 deaths nationwide. NBC News' George Solis reports on the dangerous temperatures that tonight have 72 million Americans at risk. A Department of Homeland Security notice sent to Congress and obtained by NBC News said officers fired after Pretti resisted arrest and an officer yelled, "He's got a gun!" multiple times. It comes as President Trump said he wants to "de-escalate" tensions in Minneapolis. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. A newly released video shows Alex Pretti in a confrontation with federal officers in the minutes before he was shot. NBC News' Camila Bernal reports. New police body camera video shows Brendan Banfield learning his wife was dead. Banfield is currently on trial for her murder, and the video is part of the evidence being presented in the case. Prosecutors allege Banfield was having an affair with his daughter's nanny and murdered his wife. NBC News' Stephanie Gosk reports. NTSB investigators showed video and animation of last year's horrific midair crash in Washington D.C as they say multiple failures led to that crash. Investigators warned of a culture of complacency that could lead to the next crash at another airport. NBC News' Tom Costello has the story. Measles in South Carolina has spread to at least 789 people, surpassing the 762 cases in Texas last year. It's the largest outbreak since measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000. NBC News' Anne Thompson has the latest.
