Sisters Whitney and Ashley tear down the walls of a boxy bungalow to create an open-concept space with a big island at the heart of the home. They also use their mad carpentry skills to fill the home with 16 pieces of custom furniture including a high-back bench, an open shelving unit and a farmhouse table.
