Skegness Psycho: 28 Miles To Murder

Just before midnight in May 2021, violent criminal Daniel Boulton leaves his hostel in Skegness and begins a 28-mile march to the home his ex-girlfriend, Bethany Vincent, shares with her two young sons. Bethany's family tell the story of how this loving mother-of-two started a relationship with Daniel Boulton with no idea of his violent past. There is a further tragedy in this case, revealed by retired homicide detective Russell Wate. His investigations reveal that parole officers, the police, health services and other agencies were aware of Boulton's past and deteriorating behaviour – but failures in multi-agency communication and risk management meant they were unable to keep Bethany and DJ safe.
