Killer Crocs with Steve Backshall

Steve Backshall is getting up close and personal with one of nature's most fearsome predators: crocodiles! He is going to immerse himself in their world to show us what makes them so deadly.

Steve is headed for the waterways of South Africa's Ndumo Game Reserve, home to the third largest population of Nile crocodiles. With over 1000 crocodile attacks a year these really are Killer Crocs and Steve is going to find out what really makes them tick.

Entering wild crocodile infested territory escorted by an armed safari guide he crawls close to the crocs kill zone so he can show us these incredible creatures in the wild. The added threat of a charge from a Hippo or buffalo keep the team on their toes.
