Florida Roadkill

A blackly comic crime drama, "Florida Roadkill" is based on an ongoing series of novels by Tampa-based author Dorsey, which chronicle the violent and bizarre adventures of a charismatic criminal named Serge Storms. While Serge suffers a range of mental illnesses that render him compulsive, paranoid and frequently homicidal, his strong sense of justice and rigid moral compass make him a compelling antidote to Florida's ethically-challenged crooks and miscreants. When Storms emerges from a stint in Chatahootchee State Mental Hospital determined to turn over a new leaf, he finds his home city of Tampa corrupted by petty crooks and coked-up kingpins. Serge tries his best to rise above the madness, but with his criminal past closing in and his supply of anti-psychotics running out, it's only a matter of time before he blows, taking Florida's felons and bottom feeders with him.
