Portraits of Delusion

Set in the year 1935 in Gyeongseong, Yoon Yi-Ho (Kim Sun-Ho) is an unknown painter. One day, he receives a request to paint a portrait of Song Jeong-Hwa (Bae Suzy), who is known as the owner of Nammun Hotel. She has not stepped out of her hotel for more than a half of a century, which has created suspicions about her mysterious life. Once Yoon Yi-Ho gets to Nammun Hotel and faces Song Jeong-Hwa, he becomes confused by her appearance. She looks like a young woman and not an elderly woman. She requests that he paints her portrait as he would imagine her appearance in her 70's. Yoon Yi-Ho begins to work on her portrait. According to their agreement, he is not allowed to leave the hotel until he finishes the painting. Yoon Yi-Ho feels confusion and fear, being trapped in a hotel that is full of secrets. He gradually becomes captivated by Song Jeong-Hwa.
